Τζουμέρκα - Tzoumerka mountains

Ένας πολύ συνεργάσιμος αρσενικός Πυρροκότσιφας ( Monticola saxatilis) - A very cooperative male Rock thrush

Ένας αρσενικός Σταχτοπετροκλής ( Oenanthe oenanthe) - A male Wheatear

Emberiza hortulana) - An Hortulan bunting

Μια βιόλα, τραβηγμένη κοντά στα 1500m -A viola shot taken at about 1500m

For the last three days we were on Tzoumerka mountains searching for Griffon vultures, with no luck.. The weather was quite bad, since the summer didn’t “arrive” at the area yet…We upload some photographic moments from the trip!

Hi, thank you for your good words. All photos where taken last week at mainland Greece on mountain Pindos at the area of Tzoumerka. The vilage that we stayed is called Theodoriana. The main cities that are located near the area, are Ioannina,Arta and Trikala.
